No 2021/02, Working Papers from New Zealand Productivity Commission
Abstract:
This paper summarises the findings from case studies of four significant New Zealand industries: Dairy (both farming and processing), Health technology, Horticulture (with a focus on kiwifruit and wine) and Software products and services. The work is an important part of the evidence base for the Commission's inquiry "New Zealand firms: Reaching for the frontier". The four case studies have identified various opportunities for improving productivity, some industry-specific and some generic.
