Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyze some of the basic characteristics of the Miami, Dade County economy as of 1960, or up to the time of the Cuban migration to South Florida. This is an abridged version of the paper presented at the 13th International Conference, Vaasa, Finland, May 2003.
