Abstract:
This paper deals with prospects justification of using the clover varieties introduced into the culture of species to restore Polissya degraded soils and grasslands as well as to create a reliable forage reserve for livestock. Retrospective analysis of common and varietal crop areas has been performed, which indicated that areas sown with clover are reduced in Ukraine. Thus it accounted for 173.3 thousand hectares in 2001 in comparison with 592.5 thousand hectares in 1994. Negative trend is observed as sown areas of clover in 2013.
