Aux origines de l'écologie

Abstract:
Ecology bursts during the seventies. It ends at a new form of social demand which never stops expand. Meanwhile, ecology is also a widely centenarian scientific field, which constructs itself during the XIXth century in Europe then in the USA. As to the environmentalists preoccupations, the ones of the sixties are not the firts in the history. The islands case, especially the case of Mauritius, shows that a form of colonial ecology opened out from the end of the XVIIth century.
