FabLab et extension de la forme réseau: vers une nouvelle dynamique industrielle ?

Paul Bouvier-Patron

Innovations, 2015, vol. n° 47, issue 2, 165-188

Abstract: Considering the theory of the firm, analytically and pragmatically, the managerial turning of the 1980s, highlighting the Network of Firms, may contribute to the virtualization of exchanges through the use of Internet and/or other new technologies. It gives the Virtual Form. Far Beyond, the creation and making is now feasible using numerical technologies, as suggested by the development of experimental tools like the FabLab. The Network of Firms is fit for using and valuing the FabLab as an intra-organizational creative space or a professional speed prototyping one at the inter-organizational level. This new original organizational way of combining the FabLab within the Network of Firms, by reducing conception and innovation costs, is giving, potentially, the grounds for a possible new industrial dynamics.
