Le développement de la responsabilité sociale de l'entreprise. Une analyse en termes d'isomorphisme institutionnel

Marianne Rubinstein

Revue d'économie industrielle, 2006, vol. n° 113, issue 1, 5-5

Abstract: Recent empirical studies show that many publicly quoted corporations are becoming socially responsible. But the traditional arguments in favor of Corporate Social Responsability (CSR) fail to explain completely why CSR has been expanding only since the end of the 90?s. We argue that an institutional isomorphism appeared, in an organizational field previously shaped by corporate governance, increasing the propension of the firms to adopt CSR independantly to efficiency.
