Abstract: Local Complementary Currencies put forward an idea of what is « local » and raise the ways of issuing money in addition to sovereign states. Alternative economic spaces are established throughout a heterotopia which remolds the powers linked to money. ?The subsidiary sovereignty? they implement tries to tackle with the limits of national money, but thus reveals the stakes of power that money can give on economy by determining the conditions which make possible the society.
