Abstract:
Energy is the life blood of our society. The well-being of our people, industry and economy depends on safe, secure, sustainable and affordable energy. The energy challenge is thus one of the greatest tests which Europe has to face. Renewable energy continued to grow in 2014 against the backdrop of increasing global energy consumption, particularly in developing countries, and a dramatic decline in oil prices during the second half of the year. Wind power is increasingly being used worldwide as an important contribution to renewable energy. This study outlines an overview of the main aspects related to economic and social importance of wind turbines implementation. This study results inventories the main advantages and oportunities that can results by implementing wind turbines.
