CES Technical Notes Series from Center for Economic Studies, U.S. Census Bureau
Abstract:
This paper discusses some of the issues encountered while creating the LBD-Geography file, a longitudinal file of business register geographic data covering the period between 1975 and 1998. The paper documents our efforts to create a set of longitudinally consistent geographic codes from the set of annual SSEL source files.
