Abstract:
The paper investigates the technological trajectories of innovation-based development of the South Russian regions. It has been determined that cost sharing in technological innovations and innovation activities depends on the types of sectoral trajectories. The statistical data have shown that at the modernization stage import of technologies must become the basis for further development. Supplier-dominated and scale-intensive sectors can be characterized as imitators while science-based sectors as innovators in the sphere of knowledge economy.
