Abstract:
In this paper, a piecewise deterministic SIRm epidemic model with human mobility and regime switching is studied. First, we show that the epidemic threshold of the model can be represented by the basic reproduction number R0, that is, if R0<1, the epidemic will be eradicated almost surely, while if R0>1, the epidemic will continue to spread. Further, we study the ergodicity and the Ω-limit set of the model and discuss the relationship between the ergodicity and the Ω-limit set.
