Abstract:
Designing multi-double-scroll chaotic oscillators is a challenging topic that has long been concerned by scholars. In this study, we present a novel attractor modulation method for designing multi-scroll chaotic oscillators. It is simple and effective method for generating multi-scroll chaotic attractors. Taking jerk chaotic oscillator as a seed chaotic oscillator, we implement a unidirectional multi-double-scroll jerk chaotic oscillator by using an attractor modulator and a bidirectional multi-double-scroll jerk chaotic oscillator by using two attractor modulators. The numerical results show that multi-double-scroll chaotic attractors and homogeneous coexisting chaotic attractors can be generated by using the attractor modulators, and their scrolls can be regulated by configuring the attractor modulator parameters. Moreover, we design an analog circuit for implementing these multi-double-scroll jerk chaotic oscillators, and perform circuit simulations to validate the simplicity and feasibility of the attractor modulation method.
