Financial-judicial specialization and corporate misconduct: Evidence from the establishment of the Shanghai Financial Court

Abstract:
Based on the establishment of the Shanghai Financial Court, this paper finds there is a negative and significant relation between the financial-judicial specialization and corporate misconduct, and the relation is more pronounced among firms with poorer legal protection.
