Identification of quantile treatment effects in difference-in-differences settings with staggered adoption

Abstract: This paper generalizes the identification of the quantile treatment effects on the treated in the canonical difference-in-differences setup of Callaway et al. (2018) to the staggered setup. Additionally, extending the identification within Callaway and Li’s (2019) framework faces additional challenges.
