A global database for energy consumer price indices
Miles Parker
Energy Economics, 2024, vol. 136, issue C
Abstract:
This article presents a global database of energy consumer price indices for 100 countries and two currency unions. The database covers a wide range of advanced and developing economies and is based on available information from national sources. The data extend coverage from existing international databases and provide a more detail breakdown of subcomponents, such as electricity and motor fuels, than is elsewhere available. The data are available at https://github.com/MilesIParker/EnergyCPI.
