Abstract:
This paper used manufacturing sub-industry data from 2000 to 2014 to conduct an empirical analysis between the technological complexity of KIBS imports and the status of China's manufacturing GVC from the perspective of financing constraints. The study revealed that the increase in the import technological complexity of KIBS has had a positive impact on China's manufacturing GVC status. The import technological complexity of KIBS with high technology density has a more prominent role. However, the financial constraint may hinder the impact of the technical complexity of KIBS imports on upgrading the manufacturing GVC position.
