Finance Research Letters, 2023, vol. 58, issue PB

Abstract: The impact of green finance on green innovation is supported by existing literatures, but rare studies query the relationship among such three variables. Using yearly data from China's A-share listed manufacturing firms (2007–2020), we find that green finance boosts green innovation, with managerial myopia moderating this effect. Notably, state-owned enterprises and those with higher management shareholding show more pronounced positive effects.
