Abstract:
This paper selects A-share listed companies in 2018–2022 as a research sample and examines the relationship between ESG performance and listed companies' solvency. It is found that the company's current ESG performance is positively correlated with its current solvency, and there is no lag; the correlation between high-pollution enterprises for solvency and ESG performance is more potent than that of non-high-pollution enterprises.
