Enterprise digital transformation and supply chain management

Zongru Li, Xiaohan Zhang, Zhe Tao and Binbin Wang

Finance Research Letters, 2024, vol. 60, issue C

Abstract: This paper empirically tests that enterprise digital transformation is an important means to strengthen supply chain management, providing a new research perspective and empirical evidence for improving the level of supply chain management. The empirical research results show that enterprise digital transformation can significantly improve the company's level of supply chain management. The results of heterogeneity analysis indicate that this effect is more pronounced in samples with a high level of marketization and high industry competition intensity. The conclusions of this study offer new insights for enterprises to use digital transformation to promote the optimization of supply chain management.
