Digital transformation and corporates' green technology innovation performance–The mediating role of knowledge sharing

Yumeng Sun

Finance Research Letters, 2024, vol. 62, issue PA

Abstract: We analyze the effects of corporate digital transformation on green technology innovation performance by studying data from A-share listed companies from 2012 to 2022. We utilize fixed-effect and mediation-effect models to understand the underlying mechanisms. The results indicate that digital transformation significantly enhances a corporate's green technology innovation performance. Corporates’ knowledge sharing plays a crucial role in mediating the relationship between digital transformation and green technology innovation performance, since digital transformation promotes knowledge sharing and thus improves green technology innovation performance.
