Abstract:
This paper empirically investigates the impact of digital transformation on the performance of rural household entrepreneurship. We find that digital transformation promotes rural household entrepreneurship performance. Financial literacy plays a role as a moderating variable between the two. Heterogeneity analysis shows that the facilitating effect of digital transformation on rural household entrepreneurship performance is more significant in the central and western regions. This paper enriches the research on digital transformation from a micro perspective, complements the relevant research on rural households, and explores the mechanism of digital transformation's impact on rural household entrepreneurship performance.
