Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (MATCOM), 1979, vol. 21, issue 2, 150-162

Abstract: A non-linear digital simulator for BWR nuclear powre plants and the digital code LIMBO based on this model will be derived. Comparative calculations to start-up tests at a large BWR nuclear power plant will demonstrate the efficiency of the code. Its application within the concept of linear optimal load-following control methods is discussed and resulting transients of a load-following procedure for realistic test cases over a large operational range of the plant are presented.
