Numerical procedures for determining unknown source parameter in parabolic equations

Afet Fatullayev and Emine Can

Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (MATCOM), 2000, vol. 54, issue 1, 159-167

Abstract: Numerical procedures for the solution of an inverse problem of determining unknown source parameter in a parabolic equation are considered. Two different numerical procedures are studied and their comparison analysis is presented. One of these procedures obtained by introducing transformation of unknown function, while the other based on trace type functional formulation of the problem.
