Abstract:
We discuss the consequences of introducing quantum group invariance in nonextensive quantum statistical mechanics. In particular, we show that in the Tsallis formalism the simplest quantum group invariant density matrix leads to a thermodynamics equivalent to the Bose–Einstein case in the Boltzmann–Gibbs formulation.
