Abstract:
Considering the high number of customers, the extent and volume of interruptions, distribution networks are one of the most challenging parts of power systems; which need a well-organized and continuous planning for maintenance. Risk-based maintenance is the most recent approach used to plan the maintenance of networks. In this paper, for long-term planning of maintenance of overhead medium voltage distribution networks, an Extended Mixed-Integer Linear Formulation considering the uncertainties in the network has been proposed taking into account various constraints such as annual budget, energy not supplied as a result of preventive and corrective maintenance as well as the average energy not supplied has not been proposed, which is one of the main innovations of this study in comparison with other published researches. In this paper, four different modes including a deterministic mode and three non-deterministic modes in the network have been considered. To achieve accurate and practical results in real conditions, the proposed method has been implemented on a real network with 10 feeders in Markazi province of Iran. The results showed that the proposed program will optimize the annual costs of network maintenance, reduce interruptions and increase network reliability by considering various constraints.
