Abstract:
In the last decade, heat storage systems have been gaining attention. These systems will have increasing importance for using solar energy in domestic heating systems. As solar energy is a diurnal cyclic resource, storing excess energy for long or short-term periods will both increase the use of solar energy systems and decrease fossil fuel consumption.
