Abstract:
O'Neill and Barry (1994) proposed truncated logistic regression as an alternative to conditional logistic regression (Breslow and Day, 1980) which has previously been used for the analysis of truncated binary data (Lui et al., 1988). This paper extends truncated logistic regression to truncated ordinal regression. This is important since conditional logistic regression does not extend to ordinal data. The method is applied to some road traffic accident data.
