On binomial distributions of order k

K. D. Ling

Statistics & Probability Letters, 1988, vol. 6, issue 4, 247-250

Abstract: Binomial distribution of order k was introduced by Hirano (1984) and Philippou and Makri (1986). In this paper a different type of binomial distribution of order k is discussed. The mean, the variance and the moment generating function of this distribution are derived.
