Government regulation of insurance market as a factor of its strategic development

Abstract:
The author highlights the basic guidelines, characteristic features and models of government regulation of the insurance market in the leading industrial countries. The article provides a comparative characteristic of the organization of insurance supervision in the international practice and in Ukraine and proposes measures to implement an efficient government policy on the national insurance market.
