Abstract:
In this paper we study the determinant of FDI in MENA countries by focusing on the geographical interferences within the region. The econometric results from alternative tests on a panel of 13 MENA for the period 1990-2015 show a negative spatial interdependence in MENA region in term of inbound FDI. The results go with the theory predictions and match well with the pure vertical nature of FDI prevailing in the region. Length:34
