Abstract:
The introduction of the Target Free Approach (TFA) has been a major policy shift in the health and family welfare programme of India. This study reviewed the process of change in the implementation of new policy and its impact on the quality of health care and reproductive and child health services. In this study both quantitative as well as qualitative data were collected and analysed, which included Focus Group Discussions of users and providers of health and family welfare services.
