From Income to Urban Contest in Global Settings: Chronic Poverty in Bangalore

Abstract: The paper is a research which studies the government policies and agendas that affect the poor in India. For the research 8 to 10 families, who had been intervened several years ago were re-interviewed to identify and explore the processes that reinforced or helped them escape the situation of poverty.
