Abstract:
The main objectives of the study were to analyze the role of non-timber forest products in poverty alleviation in Chhattisgarh; to examine the system of governance, institutional framework and programs for community based management practices in nontimber forest products of Chhattisgarh; and to examine the leasing policy for common rural water bodies, its positive/negative impact in terms of conflict among different stakeholders in Orissa.
