Abstract:
This article introduces the new Stata command spgen, which computes spatially lagged variables in Stata. The only additional information required to implement this command are the latitude and longitude of regions. More importantly, the spgen command facilitates spatial econometric analysis in Stata. In this paper, I offer an interesting illustration for spatial econometric analysis using the spgen command.
