Abstract: The study examines the correlation effects between leader-member exchange and organizational citizenship behaviour in a public sector organization in Peninsular Malaysia. Based on previous studies that leader-member relationships contribute to improved performance (e.g., Stewart, 2007), this study hypothesizes leader-membership exchange variable to be significantly correlated to the organizational outcomes—specifically examined the organizational citizenship behavior. Focussing the employees in the public sector as the sample in the study, the results of the study show both the variables are significantly correlated. Results are further discussed
