Abstract: " Objective - There are limited studies on the impact of strategic maneuverability on the financial performance of construction companies, especially concerning Bumiputera contractors in Malaysia. The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of strategic maneuverability practices on the financial performance of Bumiputera contractors in Selangor. Methodology – A questionnaire survey was distributed to 50 Bumiputera contractors in Selangor. The data was analyzed using SmartPLS 4 as part of the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Findings – The analysis of the feedback from the 50 respondents revealed a strong and positive relationship between the implementation of strategic maneuverability practices and the financial performance of Bumiputera contractors. Therefore, it is imperative for companies to possess strategic maneuverability in order to navigate the ever-changing business landscape of the construction industry effectively. Novelty – The findings of this study will encourage Bumiputera contractors to adopt strategic maneuverability practices to survive and remain competitive in the challenging environment of the construction industry.
