Abstract:
This essay proposes a critical decipherment of the main ambiguities and ambivalences that connote and denote our postmodern society with contradictory promises. The concept of super-diversity, the contours of the totem of the standard and the ideology of control are put into perspective on organizational and managerial levels. This reflection leads to a theoretical proposal and a research agenda, which invites the scientific community to rethink the shape of the post-modern enterprise.
