Abstract:
This paper uses annual data for the period 1980-2014 to deal with the contribution of Togolese transportation infrastructures on its economic growth and the causal relationship between those infrastructures and the economic growth. The empirical findings reveal a positive correlation in the long-run between transportation infrastructures and economic growth and the existence of causality from infrastructures to economic growth in Togo.
