Abstract: Cette étude a pour ambition d'identifier les déterminants nationaux de l'évolution de l'ISR. En d'autres termes, quels sont les facteurs susceptibles d'expliquer les écarts en matière d'encours ISR entre les pays ? En effet, bien que l'ISR connaisse une croissance rapide de ses encours à travers le monde, la question concernant les déterminants de l'évolution des encours ISR n'a jamais encore été identifiée. À partir d'un panel composé de 29 pays de 1995 à 2015, nos analyses GMM et OLS relèvent notamment que l'évolution des fonds ISR est lié positivement à la pollution de l'air, l'endettement domestique, la parité homme/femme, le taux d'athéisme et le PIB. Abstract : This study aims to identify the national determinants of the evolution of SRI. In other words, what are the factors likely to explain the differences in SRI asset under management between countries? Indeed, although the SRI is experiencing a rapid growth around the world, the question concerning the determinants of the evolution of SRI asset under management has never been identified. From a panel of 29 countries from 1995 to 2015, our empirical analyzes show that the evolution of SRI funds is positively related to air pollution, domestic debt, gender parity, the rate of atheism and GDP.
