Abstract:
Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) is a style of financial investment that involves integrating environmental, social and governance criteria into investment decisions in addition to conventional financial criteria. As for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), it translates into the application of the principles of sustainable development at the company level. This paper provides conceptual insight into the two mutually interacting SRI and CSR practices, and highlights the different facets of this interaction and the role of this close link in supporting sustainable development.
