Abstract:
Since the empirical phenomenon of Guided tours involves several aspects, such as tourism, sustainable spatial planning, cultural heritage, the mediation of place through technologies, place marketing ... merand management, Guided tours is a topic well suited for interdisciplinary studies. With this in mind, the first International Research Forum on Guided Tours was hosted by Halmstad University, Sweden on April 23-25th 2009.
