Abstract: "In order to take regional disparities into account appropriately in monitoring and controlling local employment agencies, since 2003 the Federal Employment Agency (BA) utilizes a classification scheme that has been specifically developed for this purpose by the IAB. Local employment agencies are arranged into different groups called comparison types. Local employment agencies of one type are similar in terms of factors that affect the success of labor market policies, but cannot be influenced in the short and middle term by the local agencies. The previous version of the present classification was updated after only one year. The proceedings and results of this update are reported here." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
