Abstract: "The digitalisation creates new opportunities for public employment services to advise jobseekers and place them into employment. The so-called peer-group-based counselling constitutes such an opportunity: In an online chatroom, job seekers may exchange information and ask for or offer support. PES staff present the chat and answer questions asked by participants. Two evaluation studies have analysed effectiveness and causal mechanisms of the peer-group-based counselling. Selected results are presented in the Brief Report." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
