Spatial Ability of a Mathematics Teacher: The Case of Oya

Abstract: The aim of this paper was to examine the performance of a primary mathematics teacher as well as doctorate student on tasks concerning different subcomponents of spatial ability and her views. The data comes from interviews with her and spatial test. As the results of this study, we can say that we should use appropriate geometrical materials in mathematics lessons aiming at developing the students' spatial ability.
