Interpretive structural modelling for selection of best supply chain practices

Abstract:
Supply chain management (SCM) is one of the most important areas that have recently generated a great deal of interest in both industry and academia. The supply chain (SC) is a linked set of resources and processes that begins with the sourcing of raw materials and extends through to the delivery of end items to the final customer. This study has tried to review some of the SC practices and identified factors responsible for selecting best SCM practices. Structural relationship has been developed by interpretive structural modelling among these factors. This model is further illustrated with a case study.
