Abstract:
This paper focuses on the economic framework of industrial development with a special focus on the assessment of prospects for coal power production industry development in Russia over the short-term and medium-term horizons. We analyse both social and environmental aspects of coal power industry from the standpoint of energy safety and sustainable development of the national economy.
