Abstract: In this report, we assess the impact of the transition of children ages 6 to 18 with family incomes between 100 and 138 percent of FPL from separate CHIP to Medicaid as a result of changes in Medicaid eligibility levels for children under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA).
