Abstract:
This research offers a comprehensive picture of the office furniture market in Russia and Ukraine, providing office furniture industry statistics (production, consumption, imports exports), analysis of the supply structure, demand determinants and overview of the distribution system. The report is based on roughly 80 direct interviews with leading companies (office furniture producers, retailers, wholesalers) Our data collection process enabled us to gather company's data that were representative of over 50% of total Russian and Ukrainian office furniture production. The report provides a summary of the office furniture industry in Russia and Ukraine with statistical data on production, consumption, imports, exports and furniture consumption forecast. Office furniture imports and exports are broken down by country and geographical area. The office furniture competition is analysed with data on office furniture production by districts and by segment (seating, operative furniture, executive furniture, filing and storage system, wall to wall units), as well as manufacturing locations, production strategies, sales and market share of top manufacturers. More than 70 profiles are provided for the leading office furniture manufacturers. The office furniture demand is analysed with data on office furniture consumption by districts and demand determinants (population, GNP, Household Consumption Expenditure) and an overview of the Non residential construction sector. The office furniture sales in Russia and Ukraine are broken down by distribution channels: direct sales, specialized and not-specializerd dealers (wholesalers, retailers), Internet-sales, direct sales, mail order. Short profiles of office furniture dealers and a list of office furniture contractors are also included. Products covered include: office furniture, steel office furniture, metal office furniture, wooden office furniture, operative furniture, workstations, top-manager furniture, president furniture, executive furniture, private office furniture, desks, home office furniture, seats, office seating, storage system, cabinets, module system.
