Social Functions of Confidence

Abstract: The author analyses the social functions of confidence in context of the individual’s utility value, institute’s (corporation’s) or society’s utility value. For the problem of confidence includes a “confidence/no confidence” dilemma, the social functions are ambivalent, both constructive and destructive.
