Conceptual models for strategic forecasting and indicative planning of the regional development

Abstract: The paper presents the methodological bases, techniques and tools applied to develop and assess the efficiency of strategies or indicative plans for Russian regions. The notion “a concept-model” includes the theoretical concepts and methodical approaches to the process of forecasting which are presented in the form of the techniques and tools for obtaining projecting estimates. Some results are shown here such as those concerning the strategic development for Siberia, the Novosibirsk Oblast and Novosibirsk Megapolis.
